New duo names itself after a Wilson work

The Icarus Dúo is a new Spanish duo of Alfonso Padilla López, alto saxophone and Alberto Plaza, guitar. Ian's 2004 work Tern/Icarus was the first piece in the duo's repertoire and they decided to name themselves in honour of the piece, which they like very much. The duo's first performance of Tern/Icarus takes place in Cordoba on 15th October 2009.
