Premiere of work for Aga Khan

At the beginning of July Ian conducted the first performance of a new ensemble work, Armaghan, written in conjunction with musicians from the UK Ismaili community. The performance took place in London’s Banqueting Hall at a dinner in honour of His Highness the Aga Khan, who afterwards expressed his pleasure with the music, which was a gift to him from the UK Ismaili community in celebration of his Golden Jubilee.
