One year artist's residency begins in South Dublin

Ian has just begun a one-year artist's residency in the Glencullen electoral area of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, just south of Dublin. Ian will be interviewing a number of residents in the area over the next few months and then using parts of the interviews as raw (melodic and rhythmic) material for a new large-scale work for three improvisers and three classical musicians - Double Trio - for performance in spring 2009.
